Discussion

  • mod_3: The data were revised both in terms of source as well as in type. mod_3 includes growth from subtidal population Ancona, Italy as well as specific respiration data. Parameters are not very different from mod_2.
  • mod_3: Gonado-somatic index is computed assuming 1 year accumulation in the buffer and constant food.
  • mod_3: Separate shape coefficient for length at birth and wet weight at birth is guessed based on an estimate for the wet weight at birth of Mytilus edulis.
