Discussion
- VoitFrai2011 found longevity extreme, but this cannot be confirmed from this analysis; both spec som maintenance and aging acceleration are smallish, but not extreme
- In view of low somatic maintenance, pseudodata k_J = 0.002 1/d is replaced by pseudodata k = 0.3
Facts
- Lacks pigmentation and has tiny skin-covered eyes, but subspecies P. a. parkelj is black, has functional eyes and max length over 40 cm (Ref: Spar2014)
- Males are a little shorter than females (Ref: Spar2014)
